BDA (Big Dumb Animal) 20 Points is named for the song "Twenty Points (the Ballad of Sexual Dependency)" by Buffalo Tom from their album Sleepy Eyed. This typeface is a slab with limited serifs. It was developed with poster and logo design in mind. The lines all keep an even weight which, in Illustrator, was a 20 pt. line. This effect made for smooth, easy lines with soft curves.
The Soft variation curves the corners at the end of each line. Sharp turns each corner into a fang. Thick is a bold increase in weight.
